FAQs
Q: Do you require a desposit?
A: I offer a free consultation and design, however if you would like to go ahead with the tattoo, I do require an £80 non-refundable deposit to secure your booking.
Q: Do I need to do anything in preparation for my consultation or booking?
A: No, but you might like to think about and/or provide the following things at the time of enquiry/ booking:
• Your tattoo ideas and/or subject
• Whether you want your tattoo in colour or black and grey, or if you have an existing tattoo(s) that need to be worked around or covered up
• Where on your body you want the tattoo
• The rough size of the tattoo
• Any reference pictures that you might have or pictures of the area you want tattooed
Q: When will I see a design?
A: I will draw up the design prior to your booking & once the desposit has been paid, please let me know if you want to see the design proir to your booking. For my walk in appointments, I will either draw up the design with you there and then, or you can choose one of my pre-drawn original designs to go with.
Q: Do you provide a price list of your tattoos?
A: No, as my tattoos are all very unique and original, the prices vary depending on factors such as size, colour and design style. I will discuss prices during the consultation once I understand the concept of the design.
Q : Can I bring a friend?
A : Yes, a friend is welcome to come with you, however, the studio is quite small. There is a waiting area where friends can sit if they prefer.
Q : What should I wear?
A : Wear something comfortable and easy to access the area that you are getting tattooed. Always wear something you wouldn't mind getting ink on, just in case.
Q : Can I have my tattoo in silence?
A : You are welcome to do whatever helps your comfort levels, feel free to wear headphones and listen to music, read or watch media on your device.
Q : Do I need to shave?
A : I would prefer to do this, I will do it for you with single use surgical razors.
Q: Can I bring food and drink with me?
A: Yes, you can bring drinks and snacks, we do recommend this as it helps with your blood sugar regulation.
Q: Is there parking on the premises?
A: No, there isn't parking on the premises, however there is plenty of parking available in the town centre.
Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms & conditions before paying your deposit
By paying your deposit, you are agreeing to these terms & conditions. If you have any questions about any of theses terms, please contact me prior to making the booking. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in the loss of your deposit.
It is illegal to tattoo anyone under the age of 18
Please ensure your bring a valid form of ID with you, that proves your age.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
I cannot tattoo you if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
A consent form will need to be completed prior to your booking
Some medical conditions and medications may mean I can't tattoo you.
I am also unable to tattoo areas of skin that show any signs of damage, sunburn, inflammation, or infection on the day of your appointment. If you attend your appointment with an undisclosed skin condition, I may not be able to continue with the booking.
Please enquire before making your booking if you are unsure.
Numbing cream
Please don't attend your appointment having applied numbing cream (without it being agreed upon beforehand), I may be unable to tattoo you as numbing cream can cause certain allergic reactions and it can also complicate the healing process (especially ones that are not FDA approved)
After care
Aftercare must be adhered too, failure to do so can result in your tattoo healing badly, ink falling out and infection.
Rescheduling
Please let me know as soon as possible if you need to reschedule your appointment. I will try my best to accommodate, however this may not be possible, especially in busier seasons which may result in a loss of your deposit.
Prior to your booking and after your booking
Please avoid drinking alcohol and energy drinks 24 hours before your appointment.
Please eat before your appointment and feel free to bring along sugary snacks and drinks (sugar free drinks and snacks are not advisable during your tattoo).
For longer sessions, please bring lunch with you. There are also nearby shops and cafés that you can pop to if you need to grab something beforehand.
Please be aware that you also shouldn't drink alcohol for a further 24 hours after your tattoo, as this will hinder the healing process.
Photographs and videos
I usually take photographs and videos during the tattoo process to post on my website and social media as this helps me to promote my business. Please let me know if you do not wish to be photographed or videoed prior to booking.
